Discover More About An Encounter With God

By Marisol Guy

Most of the people who are in the Scriptures and had an encounter with God got immediately and forever transformed. This means that they met God in their lives. Therefore, they accepted the instant change of heart and way of life in order to correspond to the teachings of the Mighty Lord.

When you are next to God, He makes radical transformation happen to you. You appreciate this all through His Scriptures, even though you may understand that the God seen in Scriptures is not different from the One usually encountered today. For this reason, people constantly pay visit to the places of worship, to meet God and transform their lives.

The moment of Him encountering you is defined by the creator Himself and not you. It may be via a Scripture or pastors. Suddenly His spirit takes the living Word, and then like a double-edged sword, penetrates your soul and spirit, joints and marrow, then finally discerns your thoughts and intents within your heart. It again exposes you fully.

Once the Mighty one meets you, you shall know it since He will stir the whole of your being. He knows the exact timing. Finally, He comes at the completeness of time.

The prophet Isaiah meets Him in his life. The Great One understood exactly the problem of Isaiah. Therefore, He suddenly exposed Himself to him, thus causing a drastic spiritual change in the life of that prophet. This apparition made Isaiah to admit that he was sinful, and that he too lived among the unclean people. This similarly happens to you once you experience suchlike revelation.

The holiness and the presence of Jehovah permanently expose particular needs in life, which separates one from a deeper experience with Him. Because of that reason, Yahweh fully understood that the initial item to work on in the life Isaiah would be his lips. Consequently, He touched them, thus opening both his ears and purifying his lips. Therefore, the prophet accepted the guidance of the Holy One. Each involvement with the Father cleanses one and allows him to spontaneously answer His call.

Moses encountered Yahweh while taking care of the flock of his father in law in the foot of Mount Sinai. He responded by removing his shoes and kneeling down. Yahweh did this because He wanted to respond to the needs of Israelites in Egypt. Moses then changed and became a leader. This means that once you have this encounter, divine changes occurs in your life that makes you to constantly feel like serving the Mighty King.

Meeting the Lord may occur through regular meditations. Reflections concerning your life, past activities and needs may also give a person an opportunity to experience Jesus. When one reads His scriptures, he surely feels Him touch his heart.

An encounter with God is not a simple task. It requires you to be ready to accept Him as the sole savior and provider in your life. This should be accompanied with the change of your heart and lifestyle, in a away that constantly pleases Him.
