Developing A Small Business

By Franklin Skribbit

One of the dreams shared by almost all entrepreneurs is to create a small business and then to have that business grow into something that they themselves, and all their ambitions, can be proud of. But fulfilling this dream is much harder than some may anticipate, and the difficulty of cultivating a small business into something large can be attested to by those who have done it.

In fact, according to one study, if one measures the success of their small business by the goal post of two hundred and fifty million dollars in annual revenue, then chances for success are downright dismal at one-tenth of one percent. But, nevertheless, entrepreneurs across the country find success in their small business to varying degrees and can achieve even more growth and success if they will strive to implement a few strategies for developing a small business.

Students want to receive high grades because high grades are satisfactory. Their family will be pleased with them if they have high grades, and they will be able to be pleased with themselves because they have learned and succeeded in school. All in all, it safe to say that tests are important in school. Whether or not students want to take tests, or teachers or parents think they are worthwhile, students must take tests.

This is why it is a serious problem when a student experiences test taking anxiety. Test taking anxiety is when a student becomes so nervous and agitated before taking a test that they either cannot finish or even start the test, or their grade on the test is severely affected by their nervousness.

The changes that have grown from the abilities of online sharing capabilities have led to the availability of off campus workers who perform their task for a company remotely. This means that now, more than ever, business managers, both executive and mid-level, will have to learn how to properly manage a remote access team who is working for the company through online means.

As stated previously, other strategies for growing a small business are more risky but hold higher payoffs for those who undertake them. One such strategy for quicker growth of a small business is called market penetration.

Market penetration is the growth strategy of simply selling more of the company's product or service to current customers. According to some research, existing customer's makeup up to eighty percent of a small businesses total revenue so building upon existing customers is practically essential for a small company to see growth.

Market penetration can also mean expanding the product itself towards other uses by existing customers. A prime example of this can be taken from the multiple uses of baking soda, as it can be used for its original use in cooking, fire extinguishing, cleaning, and acting as a deodorizer for people's fridges and garages.

Many students use a learning management system in order to help themselves organize the material they need to learn so they can study more effectively. Getting a learning management system could greatly help you with your test taking anxiety, because the information would be organized and prioritized.

Test taking anxiety can be very crippling for students; take steps now to overcome your test taking anxiety so it cannot affect you any longer.
