War Of Who You Really Are

By Emeka Whavor

The struggle regarding who we are can be revealed through the first as well as the last Adam.

Adam Lost The First Battle: The battle of who we are was lost, subtly, to Satan by the first human, Adam. In the Garden of Eden, Satan said to Eve that she WOULD BECOME as wise as God if she ate the forbidden fruit. It was in a bid to become like The Almighty God that Adam and Eve ate the fruit. Keep in mind that Jehovah God had earlier made them IN HIS OWN IMAGE AND LIKENESS. Yet we wonder how otherwise they 'WOULD BECOME' more or less of what they currently were. God had previously said: "Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness" So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." Genesis 1:26, 27. Satan pretends to not know this fact. Satan argues that you cannot just take it that way; your situations are proof that you are not really successful.

Jesus, The Last Adam, Won The War: Jesus is the last Adam as we learn from the Holy Book, the Bible. The devil appeared for a second time with the same approach he utilized against Adam upon Christ. Immediately after Jesus Christ was baptised, the heaven opened and the Spirit of God descended on Him like a dove, and God declared out of heaven: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" After that, the devil came to tempt Him. The holy book documents: "If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread." By implication this meant, for the devil, that The Almighty calling Christ His dearly beloved Son isn't ok, there would have to be some activity to that statement. Christ Jesus had to verify it. In the event that the stones was made bread, he then was essentially the real Son of God, if not, He was not. It absolutely was not hard for Christ to change the stones to bread. However, if He had, He could have limited His success by performance. Christ Jesus, instead of doing or think of undertaking what the devil recommended, reacted: "IT IS WRITTEN, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God'." Christ Jesus was announcing in simple terms, "Devil, I don't have to turn stones into bread before I realize who I am. I'll never derive my identity from what I have done or what I have not done. Whether I turn these stones to bread or not, I am who God says I am."

How do you define success? A lot of our training certification, societal status, height, skin color, age group, pals / buddies, moms and dads, etc are not anything truly worth justification to not succeed in life. Lots of people refer all of our achievements or non-achievements to clearly define our level of success. That is a major error in judging our success in God. From the day an individual accepts the Almighty God's nature, he or she initiates a life of being successful.

Turn down Malicious Pronouncements: Sadly, some words folks spoke to us have been set deep in our heart, and we have, unconsciously, allowed those satanic announcements to monitor our lives. Perhaps you have been called a fool; told you are unappealing, unintelligent or perhaps warned that you will never add up to anything in life. Today, I exhort you, turn down those wicked verdicts voiced against you. Prophesy on your life that you've got God's configuration therefore you aren't a failure; you're not whatever you have come through; you're not what people proclaim you might be; you are just what The Almighty God says you are. You're not low quality to any person. Help remind yourself that you are in the remodeling process for success to transpire from the spiritual world to the material realm. You should definitely perceive every struggle you come across as a possible opportunity for increase to burst for you. Don't ever price yourself, products or services low. You will succeed!
