Introduction Of Police Car Partition

By Leticia Jensen

Vehicles with the highest service provision are those which belong to the police department. A day cannot pass without a police vehicle on various roads reason being their numerous issues to attend to. These vehicles are more or less like the other public or private vehicles especially the outer view. The difference come in when a close observation is carried out inside. They have various partitions that make it unique. The police car partition is important given that the vehicles are used for various purposes.

One of the sections that most of their cars have is the trunk which other public and privately owned vehicles also have. There is a difference though when it comes to the use. In most cases the trunk is like a safe whereby the investigation evidence is kept in all the operations. Given that they always carry out investigations, their cars need trunks to facilitate this as well as to ensure that the evidence is not tampered with.

In most cases the division of the vehicle into various sections is dependent on their nature and functions. They vary because some need extra sections for functions not performed by their counterparts. The purchase of these vehicles is done by one functional area which is conversant with them thus making it easy to maintain uniformity of the compartments.

The different sections are separated by different materials. Some sections are separated using steel bars while others are separated using glass. In most cases the drivers compartment is separated using bullet proof glass for those in the crimes departments. This was introduced because there were cases of murder of officers from behind the vehicle through the glass separation. Most security vehicles have bought the idea to ensure that their own officers are safe.

One vehicle having different sections means that there must be a material or substance separating them of which in most cases glass and steel are used. Steel bars are used to separate some sections like between the passengers and the dog cages because the dogs do not raise serious alarm. The drivers who in most cases happen to be officers on duty need safety and that is why their compartments are separated with bulletproof glass.

The cargo section is not the only section for keeping items. There is also the trunk whose major use is to keep items which are obtained during an investigation. These items need maximum security and thus they cannot be mixed with other items. The reason for this is to avoid tampering with evidence or leads to a crime. This therefore is another reason why there are sections in the cars.

They are involved in investigations in one way or another and at any point in time they will need evidence. Any items that are collected during investigation need to be transported to the headquarters. This is the reason why a car needs a section referred to as the trunk for this purpose. This is an additional section though even the other vehicles have it. The only difference is the use.

The units should always go for the vehicles with the number of sections suitable for them. It is clear that this has been taken seriously and has resulted to lots of benefits. We also know the reasons why this is a requirement mostly for the police and not any other functional body.
